The Caribbean is a region that consists of the Caribbean Sea, its islands, and the surrounding coasts. The region is southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and north of South America.
The first local transmission of the Zika virus in Caribbean was reported in December 2015. Since then, the following Caribbean locations in have reported ongoing transmission of Zika.

- Jamaica
- Martinique
- The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory
- Saint Martin
